Antenatal and Postnatal Physiotherapist Grad DP MCSP SRP
A Middlesex Hospital qualified state registered physiotherapist - Sue decided to specialise in obstetrics and gynaecological physiotherapy after the birth of her first son. She has been running her private practice in Wimbledon teaching ante-natal and post- natal care for more than twenty years whilst also working at St. George's Hospital as the senior obstetric physiotherapist until recently.
Her private practice also includes special care for ante- natal obstetric problems, Pelvic Girdle Pain, Sacro-Iliac Joint Pain, Separated Abdominal Muscles (Sue wrote the treatment guidelines at St. George's for Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction) and post- natal gynaecological problems,
Sue spent many years setting up, teaching and examining for the YMCA ante and post- natal courses for exercise teachers. Following further post-graduate training in Pilates, including a course with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, Sue is using these specialised skills in ante and post-natal classes and treating individual patients.
